Window Views (Friday Fave Five)

Some recent photos for my Friday Fave Five.

1. My cute baby granddaughter figured out how to climb and stand up on her table, maybe to have a better view out her window? Don't you love those pigtails?

2. I have this view when I eat lunch at work every day. Today I was SO lucky to enjoy watching several warblers in the branches. See the circles for blurry views of the birdies.

3. We put new windows in our house a couple of weeks ago - we decided to include the grids in the upper panes, to give our house a faux craftsman look - hard to achieve in an 80's bi-level, I admit. Here is my bedroom with the afternoon sun shining in, and freshly dry-cleaned drapes. I made them several years ago out of Waverly drapery cotton and still love them, so I was glad they came back looking great. The room is peaceful and comforting to me.

4. It's really not my most favorite place to be, but I am also blessed that my desk at work is next to beautiful floor-to-ceiling windows and the view is interesting and pleasant. Since I had my camera at work today, I decided to share the view with you.
5. We watched a great movie last night that drh had recorded from pay-per-view, The Blind Side. It was a great story, dramatic, funny and moving all at once. I recommend watching it if you haven't seen it.

What a great place for your desk -- with those wonderful windows!

We loved The Blind Side. Such a good movie.

Oh, your granddaughter is so adorable! Love those "piggies" as my daughters used to call them.

I love windows too, and the views can really add to a room. You have a great looking office! My office window is frosted over, so I can't see anything ... :(

We love The Blind Side as well. I recommend it to everyone.

I love those windows and it looks like you used timeless decor. The office view is priceless...I might stop by and just ponder there for awhile.
The Blind Side is on my list.

PS..I know you are a runner. Last Weekend May 2, my dil ran the full marathon and qualified for the Boston next year. My other two children also ran the half..Lots of fun seeing their excitement.

I love your granddaughter's pigtails. My little grandbaby has tiny little pigtails (she's only 5 months old) but maybe some day her hair will be as cute as your little cutie's hair is.

I've heard lots of good reviews about "The Blind Side." Definitely on my "must see" list.

Awww, your grand daughter is so cute. She's going to be a little adventurer, huh?

Lucky you to have great views from your home and office windows!

Have a great weekend!

I loooove The Blind Side.

Your granddaughter is a cutie pie, pigtails and all.

Love the sunshine coming into your bedroom. It makes it look so cozy. We don't have that as we have a northfacing bedroom window.

I definitely love the pigtails. Too precious. New windows! That’s nice. They look beautiful. Loved The Blind Side—watched it twice. Glad you had a great week.
