Brown Bear trying out the bed at homeI finally sat down and made a little mattress and pillow for the church nursery doll bed. It didn't take long - I guess I'd put it off because the stuffing process is always a pain. But for the mattress, I just cut two layers of fairly puffing batting, slipped it in, and did a bar tack stitch in six places to make it tufted. The pillow was easier - I just robbed some stuffing from my daughter's huge pregnancy pillow (which had a big hole ripped in the side anyway). I could probably make 50,000 doll pillows from that giant thing.
